The Panther 6, which came out in 1977 was the first (and probably only other) 6-wheel sports car.

I'm still not used to the 4 wheels at the front... and frankly believe that if they were at the rear they would have served their purpose better. Today there are abundant technologies for all-wheel steering, if that could be an issue with 4 rear wheels. However, I believe that having 4 wheels at the rear would first of all stabilize the car more, support the weight of the engine better and... make the car look better. However, I think that it is very bold of Covini to push out such a car to a production line... lets hope we see them on the roads in the future.

I believe that this car will create a niche market for its own. However, it requires a lot of finishing, as the interior looks very rudimental, and a bit of tidying around the engine compartment won't hurt either. However, considering it is a prototype, very well presented.
